The Kiss electric trains have been put into operation in Slovakia

The national operator ZSSK has introduced the first of its two-story Stadler Kiss electric trains, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
In August 2021, Stadler was selected to supply four double-decker trains with six cars each within 28 months.

The contract was signed in December of the same year with financial support from the European Union totaling over 75 million euros.
Each electric train has 611 seats, including 30 in first class, with stepless entry and four toilets, including one for passengers with limited mobility.
There are multifunctional areas for wheelchair users, bicycles, strollers, and luggage, and the trains feature air conditioning, passenger information systems, Wi-Fi, video surveillance, electricity meters, and passenger counting systems.
