“We are already switching to paid travel in public transport,” Klitschko said.

The mayor of the capital noted that the fares remain the same.

Klitschko explained the restoration of paid travel in public transport by the need to replenish the city budget.

“We understand that now we need a large amount of energy resources, and electricity, and wages for our utility workers. The city will not withstand it, that is why the budget have to be replenished,” the mayor said.
