What caused the Metra train delays

Metra said the man was found while Metra BNSF train No. 1224 was there. That was at the Aurora Transportation Center.

Also, he was taken to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora. In addition, the agency said he had not been hit by a train.

Westbound service resumed, eastbound remained closed

Separately, Aurora police said service was stopped near the scene after the man was found. Meanwhile, westbound trains were moving again by about 7:30 a.m. Still, eastbound service toward Chicago and the inner western suburbs remained closed.
