London Northwestern Railway strike cuts July services
08.07.2026
The London Northwestern Railway strike involving members of the TSSA union will mean a significantly reduced service on Friday 10 July and Saturday 11 July.

Timetables for both dates are now available in journey planners. Passengers planning to travel on either day should check the latest information before starting their journey.
The practical changes include fewer trains, earlier final departures on Friday and a later start to services on Saturday.

What is known about the service disruption?
The disruption is part of a wider industrial action update affecting both London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway services on 10 and 11 July. London Northwestern Railway has told passengers to plan ahead because only a reduced timetable will operate, so journey planners remain the key place to check before travelling, particularly where routes have no service or final departures are earlier than usual.
Ticket refunds and alternative travel dates
Passengers with a ticket for a cancelled train can request a full refund from the original place of purchase. No administration fee will be charged.
Tickets dated Friday 10 July or Saturday 11 July may also be used on another London Northwestern Railway service on Thursday 9 July or Sunday 12 July instead.
West Midlands Railway services
Details of affected West Midlands Railway services are available separately.
