The operation of CRRC CR200J-C trains has commenced in China, with nine night and six day trains serving routes in the central region, as reported by the company “NPO A.T.O.R.,” a leader in comprehensive supply for passenger carriages, electric trains, and socially oriented transport.

The 459-meter night trains include two head locomotives with 5600 kW each and 16 passenger cars accommodating 1012 passengers.

Day trains, 232 meters in length, utilize a push-pull configuration with one locomotive, 7 intermediate second-class seating cars, and one end car with control cabin and passenger salon, providing a total of 676 seats.

CRRC CR200J-C trains

These CR200J Fuxing platform trains, operating at a designed speed of 160 km/h, have been in service in China since 2019, with over 360 sets produced, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

In 2023, the new generation CR200J-C models were introduced on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway (modified for high-altitude conditions), in Urumqi, and Jinan, featuring a wider body (3360 mm) and improved interior compared to the first generation.
