West Pomerania is the owner of the largest number of IMPULS trains. In 5 years, from 2013 to 2018, the region’s fleet was replenished with 40 units of the Impuls family (22 EZT Impuls type 31WE and 18 trains of type 36WE), which made the region the most attractive.

Recall that the Office of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship was the first in Poland to order a hybrid rail transport. Two vehicles have been serving the West Pomeranian railways since January this year, and five more 36WEh vehicles have been ordered under the option guaranteed by the July 2020 agreement, informs Railway Supply magazine, citing Nakolei Pl.

The original painting of the Impuls 2 train type 36WEh – 003 resembles foaming sea waves and is associated with a festive atmosphere. However, this is not the first unique color scheme for the train, because the first Impuls 2 was painted amber, while the green color of the current one is ecologically related.
