Rail Capital Partners has handed over a Newag Dragon 2 locomotive to Service and Logistics Group. The delivery adds another high-power locomotive to SLG’s portfolio. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The Dragon 2 is a six-axle electric locomotive built for heavy freight work. Also, SLG will deploy it on domestic and cross-border services.

Dragon 2 added to SLG operations

As Railmarket reported, the delivery expands cooperation between Rail Capital Partners and SLG. In January 2026, the lessor also supplied the operator with a Pesa Gama locomotive.

Rail Capital Partners leases electric locomotives to freight operators in Poland. In addition, the Dragon 2 increases the availability of high-power locomotives in SLG’s portfolio.
