Barrie Line GO train delays: where the signal issue is

Metrolinx says the issue is north of King City GO Station. Repair personnel are working on it, and the agency continues to advise passengers to allow for delays of up to half an hour until the problem is resolved.

Bus replacements and where to board

Bus replacements are in place for part of the route. Trains are stopping at Aurora GO Station before continuing north, and passengers are being directed to transfer to replacement buses from the east-side bus loop in the main parking lot.

At Newmarket GO Station, riders should board from the stop on Davis Drive beside the railway crossing.

Northbound and southbound service pattern

Northbound, a GO bus is making all stops to Allandale Waterfront GO Station. Southbound, a shuttle is stopping at all stations to Aurora GO, then continuing to the Jane and Highway 407 terminal for Toronto Transit Commission connections, as shown in Hwy 407 Bus Terminal station details.

A NewmarketToday report summarized the disruption and the replacement-service pattern, and the outlet said it will update the story as more information becomes available.
