Amtrak weather cancellations are continuing on Monday, Jan. 26, following the weekend’s winter storm. Amtrak has not published a single overview of today’s service cancellations on its website or social media, but Trains.com put together an early roundup based on information available as of 7:45 a.m. CT (Trains.com). Northeast Corridor cancellations shown on Amtrak train status

Amtrak’s train status feature lists multiple Northeast Corridor cancellations. From Boston, the cancelled trains include Acelas 2153, 2155, 2159, and 2163, along with Northeast Regionals 171 and 173. Trains leaving after 1 p.m. are currently shown as operating and on time.

From Washington, the Northeast Corridor cancellations include Acelas 2104 and 2170, plus Northeast Regionals 170, 130, 172, 112, 182, 94, 148, 176, 196, and 66.

Acela cancellations and Northeast Regional cancellations by route

For New York to Boston trips, the train status listings show Acela cancellations for trains 2192 and 2150, along with Northeast Regional cancellations for trains 66 and 190. On New York to Washington service, the cancellations shown include Acelas 2107 and 2109 and Northeast Regionals 181, 113, 183, 141, 185, 95, 119, 125, 93, 97, and 129.

Amtrak winter storm service updates on alerts feeds

Amtrak winter storm service updates also appear on the AmtrakNEC and Amtrak Alerts social media feeds. Those listings include Empire Service trains 235 and 238, plus Lincoln Service train 302.
