MTA board vote on Second Avenue subway expansion

In addition, MTA executives are expected to ask the board for approval on Monday. Still, work would begin on the shells of three new stations.

For example, the MTA lists three station sites:

  • 106th Street
  • 116th Street
  • 125th Street

At the same time, the proposed spending suggests the agency expects the project to proceed. Separately, as Railway Supply reported, the MTA sued the Trump administration earlier this week.

Also, millions in federal funding are now on hold. In addition, that money is critical to extending the Q line into Harlem.
