KVBZ has reduced the production of freight cars by 55% in eight months of 2021

During the period from January to August this year, KVBZ did not produce a single passenger car. In January-August 2021, compared to January-August 2020, the Kryukivsky Railcar Building Plant reduced the production of freight cars by 55.1%, or by 619 cars – to 505 units, reports Kremenchuk Economy Department citing the company’s data.
In January-August 2021, KVBZ did not produce any passenger car, while in January-August 2020, 26 passenger cars were produced. It is noted that in September 2021 the company operates for 20 days.
This was reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply .
We will remind that the Kryukivsky Railcar Building Plant built 483 freight cars for seven months of 2021. This is 52.8% or 541 cars less than in January-July 2020.
KVSZ has produced less than 500 freight cars since the beginning of 2021
Kryukivsky Railcar Building Plant received a net loss of UAH 72.12 million in January-March 2021, while for the same period in 2020 the net profit amounted to UAH 75.17 million.
