Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov, Acting Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia Oleksandr Kamyshin, visited the Kryukovsky Railcar Building Plant (KVSZ) and checked the progress of the contract for the supply of 100 new passenger cars.

The specified batch of cars is purchased at the expense of the state budget, and the carrier will receive the first two cars by August 24, reports the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to УЗ.

“Next year we must receive the entire batch of cars from the plant. And this year at least 10 units will be delivered to us”, said Alexander Kamyshin. He also added that now all parties adhere to the agreements, in particular, Ukrzaliznytsya has already transferred the advance payment to the plant. “Everyone will be able to see the first two cars at the rolling stock exhibition, which will take place on August 27 at the Central Railway Station in Kyiv”, summed up the head of UZ.
