On July 23, an advance payment from Ukrzaliznytsia was received at the account of the public joint-stock company “Kryukovsky Railcar Building Plant”.

Ukrzaliznytsia transferred to KVSZ an advance payment for the production of 100 passenger cars

The funds were transferred in accordance with the terms of an agreement dated June 25, 2021 for the supply of 100 passenger cars, reports Railway Supply magazine.

According to the chairman of the board of JSC “KVSZ” Maksim Kramarenko, this gave a start to the implementation of this important transaction. The deadline begins from the day of the first payment – KVSZ must deliver products in full within a year, until the end of July 2022.

The advance payment is equal to 30% of the contract amount. These funds will be enough for the purchase only of 50% of the components and materials needed.

As previously reported, Ukrzaliznytsya signed an agreement with KVSZ for the supply of 100 passenger cars.

Under the terms of the agreement, the first batch of cars – 10% of the total amount – is planned to be delivered no later than 6 months from the date of receipt of the prepayment.
