The train “Intercity +” Kyiv-Zaporizhya derailed

On Monday, March 29, there was an incident with the high-speed train “Intercity +” No. 732 Kyiv-Zaporizhya. Six of nine railcars derailed 50 kilometers from the terminal station. Ukrzaliznytsia has created a commission that is investigating the causes of the incident.

The movement of trains on the damaged section was restored the same day. However, due to repair work, a number of trains were delayed. In particular, passenger trains # 731 Zaporizhya – Kyiv, # 70 Mariupol – Lviv, # 738 Zaporizhya – Kyiv, # 12 Novoalekseevka – Kyiv, # 10 Mariupol – Kyiv, # 116 Berdyansk – Kyiv, # 88 Novoalekseevka – Kovel were a few hours late.
