Each Freight Wagon carries either a 40-foot ISO container or two 20-foot units. It also accommodates fully loaded or empty trucks, helping reduce delivery times and logistics costs across supply chains.

Texmaco’s order book now totals $865 million, boosting its industrial momentum. The company operates seven manufacturing sites in West Bengal, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh, building cutting-edge rolling stock.

Freight Wagons Support Sustainable and Cost-Efficient Logistics

The introduction of these wagons aligns with India’s national transport strategy, emphasizing lower carbon emissions and reduced dependency on road freight. Intermodal integration plays a key role.

Texmaco collaborates with global rail leaders like Wabtec and Touax. These alliances bring advanced design and production capabilities, enhancing Texmaco’s presence in international freight markets.

This freight order adds scale to Texmaco’s production while supporting government goals in freight optimization and infrastructure renewal. It marks a significant step toward India’s multimodal logistics transformation.
