PJSC “ZERZ”: Plans for 2021 – to repair 80 electric locomotives

The plans of Zaporizhzhya Electric Locomotive Repair Plant for 2021 include the repair of 80 electric locomotives, 441 traction motors, 292 wheelsets, 562 auxiliary machines and units, as railway magazine «Railway Supply» informs referring ZERZ Head of the Board Oleg Golovashchenko.

EVRAZ and RM Rail withdrew mutual claims and agreed on new long-term supplies

In October 2020, the plant carried out the overhaul of 7 electric locomotives. This is a record number of locomotives commissioned in one month over the past 3 years. In addition, over ten months of 2020, there were repaired 140 traction motors, 138 wheelsets, 316 auxiliary machines and units.

By the end of the year it is planned to repair 32 more electric locomotives within the production plan for overhaul of the traction rolling stock.

The indicated volumes of repair of traction rolling stock and linear products for 2020 and 2021 guarantee a stable utilization of the production capacity of the enterprise, the selection of qualified personnel. It is the basis for the sustainable development of the enterprise, an increase of salary level and the corporate image of ZERZ.
