EVRAZ and RM Rail withdrew mutual claims and agreed on new long-term supplies

The Moscow Arbitration Court approved an amicable agreement on the claim of TK Evrazholding to recover a debt from Ruzkhimmash (part of RM Rail) in the amount of 1.55 billion rubles.

The companies withdrew mutual financial claims and entered into a five-year agreement for the supply of solid-rolled railway wheels, informs Railway Supply magazine citing tzdjournal.

So, from June 2021 to May 2026, EVRAZ will have to deliver, and Ruzkhimmash will have to accept and pay for 144 480 wheels (2408 per month, corresponding to the production of 301 wagons). In this case, the price of goods supplied in the next month will be determined according to the price list on the official website, minus 12%.

The legal proceedings were initiated by the companies in November 2020 over a disagreement over the execution of a contract for the supply of railway wheels concluded in 2017.
