CFR announced a tender for the repair of the railway track for the state budget

The Romanian National Railway Company (CFR) is investing 26 million lei (5.2 million euros) in the renovation of the railway line between Cilibia and Faurey stations in order to increase the speed to 120 km/h for passenger trains, informs Railway Supply magazine citing CFR

It is noted that funding is provided from the state budget funds allocated by the CFR for 2021. The tender is held in the electronic public procurement system (SEAP). The deadline for accepting proposals is May 5.

The work will be aimed at improving operating conditions and increasing passenger comfort by removing restrictions on train speed.
