BNSF labor agreement terms

The BRS announced yesterday that the contract covers about 1,700 employees. It provides wage increases totaling 17.5% over five years, or 18.8% on a compounded basis, and includes retroactive pay dating back to July 1, 2025.

The agreement also includes enhanced vacation benefits and keeps healthcare benefits consistent with the national framework. BNSF officials said the ratification means 100% of the company’s union-represented workforce is now covered by ratified national agreements.

BNSF completes national bargaining round

BNSF President and CEO Katie Farmer said:

“This agreement marks an important milestone for BNSF; completing this round of national bargaining and ensuring all union-represented employees are now covered under ratified agreements,”
