The site follows the same standards used by Vossloh Fastening Systems worldwide, according to Vossloh. The company describes its Fastening Systems division as a world-leading supplier of rail fastening systems. Also, its systems are used in more than 100 countries.

Its screw-fastened elastic systems are designed for reliability and low maintenance. In addition, they can be used on both ballasted and slab track. Applications include mainline and conventional rail lines. They also cover high-speed, heavy haul and urban transportation lines.

MFlex fastening systems and manufacturing processes

Production at the Kunshan facility includes raw material testing and heat treatment. Also, it includes mechanical and functional testing. As travel speeds rise, technical requirements for rail fastening systems are evolving. Meanwhile, infrastructure demands are rising as well.

Many locally made clamps are also integrated into the latest MFlex® fastening systems. In addition, these systems are intended to meet higher requirements for performance and durability.

Tobias Lamm, Managing Director of Vossloh Fastening Systems China, commented on investment in the plant. “Since production began, there has been continuous investment in the further development of the plant,” he said. “This milestone is the result of stable processes and the dedicated work of our team.”

Separately, Sven Haag, Chief Executive Officer of Vossloh Fastening Systems, commented on the figures. He said they reflect the company’s long-term industrial presence across different markets.

“On this basis, we are continuing to work on the automation and digitalisation of our processes and on further integration of environmentally relevant aspects into our manufacturing.”
