The reconstruction cost of the 75-kilometer railway ‘Hairatan – Mazar-i-Sharif’ amounts to $6.3 million,” said Shafiqullah Mahmood, the head of the railway department in the Afghan province of Balkh, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Representatives of the Afghanistan Railway Authority (ARA) reported that repair works, currently undertaken by 120 specialists from the Uzbek railways, are planned to be completed in the next three months.
