Metrowagonmash wants to appeal to the United States for the lifting of sanctions

On June 14, the Russian manufacturer Metrowagonmash announced that it is “exploring the possibility of approaching competent US authorities” in order to be removed from the sanctions list, according to the Railway Supply portal, citing Railway Gazette.
On May 19, the US Department of State stated that Metrowagonmash “participates in the production of military equipment, including chassis attached to the Russian “land-air” radar, weapon systems, and numerous variants of armored tracked vehicles.”
The company argues that “this inclusion is mistaken since Metrowagonmash is not engaged in the production of military products.”
