Ukrzaliznytsia held an auction to identify a contractor for the Kyiv City Express platform project, informs railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to ProZorro.

Four companies submitted bids for the auction:

Transport Infrastructure Design Institute; LLC “P.S. Building “; LLC “Remtekhnoukladka”; LLC “Urban Project”.

The most advantageous offer came from the Transport Infrastructure Design Institute – UAH 49.4 million, which is almost UAH 17 million less than the expected cost set by Ukrzaliznytsia.

Now the tender committee must check the winner proposal for compliance with the conditions and only then conclude a contract. Note that the tender was announced in November.

The contractor is to design the refurbishment of the platforms at 29 stations. All stations should become inclusive, equipped with turnstiles, have energy-efficient lighting, tactile tiles, staff quarters, loudspeakers, new communications, toilets, anti-vandal information boards, bicycle parking, video surveillance, etc.

The project must be completed by the end of 2022.
