tender for the purchase of 80 electric trains

JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” for the third time postponed the deadline for submitting commercial proposals for the supply of 80 electric trains.

The deadline for accepting proposals has been extended by a month – until January 21, according to the Prozorro system.

It is noted that the date of the auction has been postponed to February 28.

Within the framework of this tender, Ukrzaliznytsia plans to purchase 60 electric trains for suburban transportation and 20 electric trains for regional routes.

All of them must be delivered to the carrier by the end of 2026.

The total purchase amount is over UAH 31.4 billion. For the first time, the deadline for submitting proposals was postponed from November 1 to December 1, then the date was updated to December 22.

UZ justified this by the fact that adjustments were made to the technical requirements for the trains that the company plans to purchase.
