UZ has published new conventions for the carriage of wagons towards Hungary and the Czech Republic. Railway Supply magazine writes about this with reference to Rail.insider.

Thus, the ban on the carriage of wagons for the Hungarian carrier MMV through the Batievo station has been expanded in terms of the range of goods: oilcake and cakes have been added. The Convention enters into force on 26 January.

The number of railway accidents increased compared to 2020

The next restriction concerns the transport of sinter ore, iron ore and concentrate to the Czech stations Trinec and Ostrava-Bartovice via Chop. This Convention shall enter into force on 29 January.

Together with these two restrictions, the total number of existing conventions published on the KZ website already reaches 200.
