Ukrzaliznytsia: Memorandum signed with DHL Global Forwarding

The Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC Vladimir Zhmak, Executive Director of the Leski Transport Service Center Edwin Berzins and DHL Global Forwarding General Director Steve Huang, as Railway Supply magazine reports referring press service of UZ.

A powerful logistics center for DHL cargo will be created in Kiev. The operator will be the logistics center, which will be created on the basis of the Liski Transport Service Center branch.

Ukrzaliznytsia has undertaken to work on simplifying the passage of customs procedures on the territory of Ukraine and to ensure compliance with the train schedule.

DHL will continue to develop its rail freight forwarding in the future with the main focus on the transport corridor China – Ukraine – European countries and vice versa.
