Westbahn will run a special train from Klagenfurt to Vienna after the Real Madrid–Fiorentina friendly on 1 August, adding four stops outside its regular network.

Westbahn special train confirms additional stops

Westbahn announced the fan service⁠ on 15 July, when the operator said additional stations outside its network were still under consideration.

The final matchday timetable⁠ now confirms stops at Kapfenberg, Mürzzuschlag, Baden and Mödling. Westbahn does not normally serve these four stations.

Listed as service 14813, the train will operate directly to Vienna via Graz and Semmering, without requiring passengers to change trains. Its scheduled times are:

  • Klagenfurt West: departure at 21:05
  • Klagenfurt Hbf: 21:08–21:10
  • Graz: 22:00–22:06
  • Bruck an der Mur: 23:00–23:01
  • Kapfenberg: 23:05–23:06
  • Mürzzuschlag: 23:35–23:36
  • Semmering: 23:49–23:50
  • Wiener Neustadt: 00:31–00:32
  • Baden: 00:43–00:44
  • Mödling: 00:49–00:51
  • Wien Meidling: 00:57–00:59
  • Wien Hauptbahnhof: arrival at 01:03 on 2 August

Train and local bus tickets remain valid

All regular Westbahn tickets and the KlimaTicket Ö will be accepted on the special service. Passengers will retain the benefits associated with their tickets, including the WestFixplatz seat-reservation option.

A valid Westbahn ticket can also be used free of charge on Klagenfurter Linien bus routes 4 and 6 for travel to and from the stadium. Passengers should board at stands 32 or 33 outside Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof, leave at Baumbachplatz and walk approximately five minutes to the stadium.

ACF Fiorentina has confirmed⁠ that the friendly against Real Madrid will begin at 18:00 CEST at Wörthersee Stadion. The train timetable is coordinated with the end of the match and the subsequent transfer from the stadium.
