Ukrzaliznytsia employee suspected of collaborating with occupiers
The railway worker is suspected of collaborating with the Russian occupiers. It is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
Law enforcement officers, together with the SBU and with the assistance of the office of the director for economic and information security of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, exposed the railway worker – a resident of the Buchansky district of the Kyiv region – in carrying out collaboration activities.
“In the course of the pre-trial investigation, it was established that the man, living in one of the settlements of the Buchansky district of the Kyiv region, being an official of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, accepted the proposal of the Russian armed forces on cooperation,” the report says.
It is noted that during March 2022 the railway worker systematically provided the servicemen of the aggressor state who occupied the settlement with assistance, including food.
On this fact, the man was informed of the suspicion of committing a crime under Part 4 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely collaboration activities. The suspect has been taken into custody. Investigations are ongoing.
