Latvia is ready to help Ukraine with the export of grain through its ports.

Ports for grain export

This was stated by the President of Latvia, Egils Levits, at a joint briefing with the presidents of Ukraine, Lithuania and Estonia in Kyiv on April 13, reports Railway Supply magazine with reference to ports.ua.

“In Latvia, we can help with the export of grain from Ukraine so that the flow of Ukrainian cargo goes through Latvian ports,” said Levits.

He also announced the full support of the presidents of the Baltic States and Poland for granting Ukraine the status of a candidate for EU membership and making this decision under an accelerated procedure.

Recall that they plan to send a test train with Ukrainian agricultural products to Lithuania.
