A 40-ft container train consists of 42 containers and transports household appliances. The train route passes through the territory of Turkey along the line Istanbul (Marmaray) – Kosekoy – Ankara – Sivas – Kars.
This project can be considered the result of successful cooperation between Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC within the framework of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route project.
