Transmashholding will service electric trains in Bavaria
The international division of Transmashholding, TMH International, has signed an agreement with the German company Go Ahead Bavaria for the maintenance of the electric train fleet, reports railway magazine «Railway Supply» citing information portal Regnum.

TMH International’s investment in the construction of a depot in Germany will amount to about 40 million euros. It is planned to create a team of technical specialists to carry out the work under the contract.
“The contract provides daily maintenance, minor, scheduled and unscheduled repairs of 78 electric trains manufactured by Siemens and Stadler for 12 years (the contract will come into force in December 2021 and will end in December 2034). The cost of TMHI services for the German operator will be 250 million euros”, – explained Artem Ledenev.
In addition, there are plans to create two mobile repair teams for round-the-clock service. TMH International takes over the procurement of spare parts for servicing electric trains.
