Over the past two years 19 sleeping cars have been supplied by Stadler from Switzerland and then from Belarus to Azerbaijan. The operation of this rolling stock is planned on the Baku-Tbilisi-Istanbul line. The railcars are specially equipped for Azerbaijan with bogies with sliding wheel pairs – for the transition from 1520 mm to 1435 mm gauge.

In addition, there are 9 KISS double-decker trains in operation in the country, which are equipped to operate on an AC network due to the transfer of many railway lines from DC to AC in Azerbaijan since 2019.
