Three-railcar trains are based on the RegioPanters series and are designed to operate on electrified lines with a track gauge of 1520 mm. Trains can be used on both 3 and 25 kV networks.

They are also adapted to the harsh climatic conditions of Estonia: they can be operated in the temperature range from -40 ° C to +35 ° C.

The maximum speed is 160 km/h. The capacity is 270 seats.

According to the manufacturing company, the main components of the tender success were low energy consumption, power and cost. The rolling stock should be delivered in early 2025.

Over the past 15 years, Škoda Transportation Group has manufactured about 150 electric trains for suburban, regional and interregional transportation. In particular, two trains were delivered to Ukraine before the final of the 2012 European Football Championship.
