The new railway track, which is being built by the Euroterminal company, will increase the speed and volume of cargo handling on the territory of the Dry Port. The throughput capacity will be increased to 1 million tons per year.

“The railway line, built by Euroterminal, will allow handling larger volumes of containers, reduce the load on city streets from the movement of heavy vehicles and reduce the costs of shippers, forwarders and other participants in the transport process. Plus, the new railway line will become an additional incentive for the development of logistics both for the Dry Port and the adjacent territories,” commented Alexander Eismont, CEO of Euroterminal.

The Euroterminal company was founded in 2005, with the support of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development to ensure transport links between Europe and Asia (within the framework of the International Transport Corridor No. 9)
