So far, such a permit has been used in several European countries, including Germany and Sweden. From the beginning of 2021, all new MS Vectrons supplied to Poland and Europe will be compatible with the latest version of the ETCS system.

The ETCS system unifies communications between on-board train control systems, replacing local systems and creating the basis for the interaction of trains and track infrastructure. ETCS has recently become a global standard in the rail industry.
