“The beginning of the year was not easy for the entire port industry. We have survived two ice campaigns, which are extremely rare in the Nikolaev region. In addition, the decline in grain yields, as well as the continuation of the economic downturn associated with the pandemic, significantly influenced the downward trend in transshipment. Nevertheless, since the beginning of this year, our port has handled 66 vessels, 7949 wagons and 6718 trucks, ”commented Alim Agakishiev, CEO of the Nika-Tera port.

In 2020, the port handled over 7 million tons of cargo.
