Naftogaz of Ukraine ordered the repair of railway tanks from Ukrzaliznytsia
Ukrspetstransgaz, a subsidiary of Naftogaz of Ukraine, ordered the repair of tank railcars from Ukrzaliznytsia for a total of UAH 24.8 million (EUR 0.73 million). The corresponding agreement was published in the public procurement system ProZorro, informs Railway Supply magazine citing Railinsider.
By the end of this year, Ukrzaliznytsia must repair 354 cars: 268 depot repairs and 86 overhauls. According to the contract, the repairs must be carried out at the Kolomyia depot (Lviv railway). The agreement was concluded without a tender, because Ukrspetstransgaz is not subject to the procurement law.
Last year, the company also entered into an agreement with Ukrzaliznytsia for the repair of wagons. Then it was about 466 cars (the amount of the contract was UAH 21.1 million). In January this year, the contract was extended until March.
