Delivery of six 11-car electric trains EP2D
The leasing company VEB.RF has signed a contract with the Demikhovsky plant of Transmashholding for the supply of six 11-car EP2D electric trains, informs Railway Supply magazine with reference to the Railway Gazette.

Trains must be delivered by the end of the year for operation by the Central Suburban Passenger Company on the Belorussky and Savelovsky routes of Moscow. The Demikhovsky plant has already delivered 23 similar 11-car EMUs to the operator this year.
EP2D is a DC electric train produced by the Demikhovsky Machine-Building Plant. It is a modified version of ED4M electric trains.
