CRRC Qingdao Sifang and UAE railway operator Etihad Rail have signed a contract for the delivery of 21 diesel trains. It also provides for an option allowing the purchase of another 140 units and maintenance of rolling stock for 15 years. It is planned to put the trains into trial operation in 2025, Railway Supply magazine reports with reference to zdmira.
