Construction of Bogdhan railway started in Mongolia

The length of the railway will be 135.8 km, and for the first time in Mongolia a tunnel with a length of 16.6 km will be built.
The opening ceremony of the construction of “Bogdhan temer zam” – the railway “Bogdhan” took place in Mongolia. The works are planned to be completed within 3 years.
Its length will be 135.8 km, informs the railway magazine Railway Supply
Bogdhan Railway “not only increases the competitiveness of Mongolia’s infrastructure, transport and logistics, but is also one of the key solutions for decentralizing the capital, Ulaanbaatar, creating a new satellite city in Tuva Province and reducing road congestion”, said Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene at the opening ceremony.
