Construction design and author supervision of Rail Baltica intermodal freight terminal in Salaspils

A closed tender for construction design and author supervision of Rail Baltica intermodal freight terminal in Salaspils (Latvia) has been announced recently.

Experienced construction designers are invited to participate in the tender. Within the last seven years (2013-2020, up to the submission of the Application) the Candidate should have an experience in developing the following construction designs:

• design of intermodal railway freight terminal including 1435 mm railway tracks with the possibility to handle several freight trains at the same time and container storage area
• design of 1520 mm railway station or passing loop with several acceptance – dispatching railway tracks.
• design of a railway track provided for piggyback transportation service
• road design with a railway level crossing and with paved surface area
• transport infrastructure design project of total design value at least EUR 5 000 000

The project will be evaluated by the association of «Egis Rail», «DB Engineering & Consulting» and «Olimps Rīgas», as it was informed by railway magazine «Railway Supply» reffering to Eiropas Dzelzcea līnijas
