More Flexibility for Amtrak Passengers Along the Coast
Amtrak now offers 12 daily roundtrips between San Diego and Los Angeles, five to Goleta, and three full-corridor trips to San Luis Obispo. Restored tracks enable more consistent service.

Amtrak Service Enhancements and Network Connections
Amtrak Thruway Buses complement the rail service with guaranteed connections. Riders can travel north to Oakland or southeast to Indio through cities like Riverside and Palm Springs.
Each train features reclining seats, onboard Wi-Fi, power outlets, luggage and bike storage, and a café with California wines and local beer. Tickets are available at Amtrak.com, the mobile app, or by calling 800-USA-RAIL.
