AMCU will consider a complaint about a tender for the purchase of passenger railcars

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine accepted for consideration the complaint of the Terminal-Zakhid company filed on March 26 on the conditions of the Ukrzaliznytsia tender for the purchase of 100 new passenger railcars. The consideration of the complaint is scheduled for April 8th. This is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply with a link to the Mintrans website.

The Terminal-Zakhid company claims that Ukrzaliznytsya included “artificial filters” in the tender documents, which limit the number of potential participants and are allegedly registered for the purchase of railcars produced by the Kryukovsky Railcar Building Plant.

In its complaint, “Terminal-Zahid” claims that it is the official distributor of the Polish manufacturer of railway equipment Pesa. At the same time, Pesa denied this information.
