Igor Murdo said that within the framework of the agreement on the purchase of Alstom electric locomotives, the localization level was set at 35%, and not 30%, as previously reported.
The People’s Deputy learned about this from the response to the request, which he sent to the MIU, reports the railway magazine Railway Supply .
Infrastructure Minister Alexander Kubrakov said that in the future localization could grow up to 50%. Another news – French are considering ZERZ (Zaporozhye Electric Locomotive Repair Plant) as a base site.
