78 million UAH of Donetsk Railway debts were debited from UZ accounts
Ukrzaliznytsia has already paid UAH 78 million for the claims of Donbasenergo. UZ board member Sergei Leshchenko wrote about this on his Facebook page.
The executive service of the Ministry of Justice has opened the corresponding procedures despite the moratorium, reports Railway Supply magazine.
“On the way there are another $ 13.5 million to be debited. That is more than UAH 360 million, according to the requirements of Investohills. All the anti-crisis measures taken by UZ to fill the company with money end in the fact that this money is debited for the debts of the Donetsk Railway despite the moratorium”, Sergei Leshchenko noted.
He clarified that Ukrzaliznytsya filed an application for the suspension of enforcement actions on the basis of a legal moratorium. But so far it is not satisfied. Therefore, the enforcement proceedings have not been stopped.
“Due to the inaction of officials of the Ministry of Justice, there is a risk of unlawful collection from Ukrzaliznytsia of almost UAH 0.5 billion, 78 million of which have already left the company’s accounts.
The board and the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia are trying to save the company’s money to the last, and therefore they demand from the Ministry of Justice to immediately stop sending requests to debit money, and from the Office of the Prosecutor General – to impose through the court a ban on any write-offs and seizures of Ukrzaliznytsia’s property on episodes of the Donetsk Railways”, – said the official.
