Container shipments through the Port of Aktau grew by a third

In the first quarter of 2024, the volume of container shipments through the Aktau seaport reached 7.4 thousand TEUs, as reported by Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
This is 1.84 thousand TEUs, or 33%, more than the previous year.
Of these, 6.4 thousand TEUs were via the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.
This is 2.94 thousand TEUs, or 85%, more than the previous year.
