Chick-fil-A Supply distribution center Florida breaks ground in Winter Haven

As reported by Progressive Railroading, Chick-fil-A Supply distribution center Florida plans advanced yesterday as CSX leaders joined the groundbreaking for the new facility in Winter Haven.

According to a CSX press release, the planned logistics operations center will cover 244,000 square feet and represents a capital investment of more than $150 million by Chick-fil-A Supply. The project is supported through partnerships among CSX, the Winter Haven Economic Development Council and the state of Florida.

CSX was represented at the event by Aubrey Brown, senior manager of industrial development, and Ann Markivich, terminal manager. The company said the project marked a development milestone for the region’s growing logistics sector.
Central Florida Integrated Logistics Park and operations timeline
The Chick-fil-A Supply logistics operations center will be built at the Central Florida Integrated Logistics Park and is expected to create 180 jobs in Winter Haven. It is intended to support the receiving, storage and delivery of products for Chick-fil-A restaurants across Florida, with operations planned to begin in 2027.
Once the CSX-served site is operational, it will support statewide distribution and contribute to the continued growth of central Florida as a logistics hub, CSX officials said. The 1,500-acre industrial park can accommodate more than 12 million square feet of development and sits near major thoroughfares and a CSX rail intermodal facility.
