The Canada Strong Pass comes back this winter from December 12, 2025, until January 15, 2026, inviting the Canadians to discover the cultural, historical, and natural sites by exclusive offers as well as free entries.

Not like a regular ticket or membership, the program offers savings automatically across national museums, VIA Rail, and Parks Canada attractions. Children and youths are the biggest beneficiaries, getting lower prices and free admission to the parks, while camping fees get reduced even further.

The project made its first appearance in spring 2025 in an attempt to enhance home-based tours following the slowdown in foreign tours. And since the offers accommodate all the visitors, the project became the logo of inclusiveness and national cohesion.

Canada Strong Pass Strengthens Domestic Tourism

Heritage Canada statistics attest to the program’s solid performance. Parks Canada registered a 10 percent gain in visitors over 2024, while national museums experienced a 15 percent gain in attendance. VIA Rail registered over 50,000 reservations using the Canada Strong Pass, reflecting its broad-based reach across the country.

Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture Steven Guilbeault stated the project made families engage in exploring the heritage of Canada. He referred to it as a “powerful expression of national pride,” observing that it helped in connecting individuals with the national identity.

The federal government intends to reissue the pass anew for the summer of 2026. Due to its success, it remains an essential in marketing affordable, sustainable, and family-friendly travel throughout Canada.
