Brush Fire Along Tracks Hits Amtrak and SEPTA Service

A brush fire along tracks disrupted service on the Northeast Corridor Thursday afternoon. Meanwhile, the blaze was burning on Amtrak property. At the same time, dry conditions kept it going. Also, crews worked to contain it.

The incident affected travel for Amtrak and SEPTA. Separately, firefighters were dispatched at about 2:45 p.m. They were sent to a wooded area. In addition, the site was behind the Penn Warner Club in Falls Township.
