The South-Western Railway has announced two tenders for the electrification of the Vasilkov – Vasilkov-2 section. The total cost of the work is UAH 55.8 million. ($ 2.07 million)

According to the tender documents, the contractor, in addition to electrifying the tracks, must replace turnouts, signaling, traffic lights, equip a passenger warning system and repair platforms at Vasilkov-2 station, informs Railway Supply magazine referring to the ProZorro public procurement portal.

The work must be completed by the end of 2021. The auction was scheduled for September 17th.
